CAMP OVEN

The humble Bedourie Camp Oven can account for a dozen bits of cooking gear and is a real jack-of-all-trades piece of kit. The lid can be used as a bush frypan, the base can boil water, cook rice, steam veggies as well as the usual raft of meals that can be cooked. CAST-IRON FRYPAN

Cast iron cookware’s the ultimate – bung it straight on the fire and you’ve got yourself a hot surface to cook tucker. An Adventure Kings Cast Iron Skillet Pan’s all you need – You’ll have something you’ll camp with for decades. Look for one with a cast handle.

GOOD QUALITY KNIFE

You’ll need to split the rounds you cut with the chainsaw into nice useable bits, and in a pinch can be used to drive pegs into hard ground if you don’t have a hammer.

LONG HANDLED SHOVEL

We wouldn’t head bush without one. From grabbing coals from a roaring fire, to picking up the hot Camp Oven or for digging a whole when nature calls, a long handled shovel is an invaluable bit of kit.

FIRST AID KIT AND FIRE EXTINGUISHER
