The Adventure Kings 250W Solar Blanket with Support Legs is an incredibly powerful camping solar panel that comes with everything you need to charge a battery.

The Adventure Kings 250W Solar Blanket is a massive leap forward in portable solar, it combines the best parts of folding solar panels and solar blankets with its compact size and integrated legs for easy setup, plus it also features the absolute latest technology.

The 20 amp Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) regulator is able to calculate and output the maximum amount of power that your solar panel can provide, so whether it’s a bright, sunny day or there are clouds passing over you can rely on it to maximise the charge rate into your battery. In fact, the MPPT efficiency can be up to 99% - that means on those perfect, bright days you can get very close to the full 250W of output from your solar setup!

This blanket utilises A Grade monocrystalline shingle solar cells.

Shingle solar cells are new technology offering many advantages. Each cell is slightly overlapping like a tiled roof, which means we’ve improved the actual solar cell area on each panel - there are no gaps between rows of cells or cut off corners. This means a significant improvement in solar efficiency over conventional solar.

Also each section of the blanket is wired in parallel – so even if there’s partial shading, it will still be able to charge your battery effectively. At max power, the 250W blanket combined with the included MPPT regulator can produce up to 20Amps of charge into your battery.

On the outside we’ve used tough 1680D polyester weave to protect the whole unit, and applied a water resistant PVC coating – that means water will bead off and dry quickly, rather than soak in, potentially causing damage

On the back we’ve fitted fold out legs that make setting up and making the most of the sun easy – Velcro holds them in when they’re not needed, and polyester straps stop them over extending – plus there are metal eyelets so you can peg your solar down in harsh weather.

It also includes the MPPT regulator, 4.4m extension lead and alligator clips – all with quick connect plugs that make hooking this up to your vehicle or battery fast and easy – plus because of the quick connect plugs it’s so modular, you can directly plug the unregulated blanket into your DC charger or upgrade the regulator at a later date for better efficiency.
