PWM TECHNOLOGY

A Controller is a must for safeguarding your battery from the high voltage output of solar panels. This controller uses Pulse Width Modulation (PWM )to reduce the solar input voltage to a safer, lower output voltage, ideal for charging 12V batteries. Along with this, the PWM employs a 3-stage charging program: boost, equalise and float. Keeping your battery charged properly and ready to operate at peak performance.

EASY TO CONNECT / DIY

If you have a solar panel without it's own regulator, add this PWM Controller to your setup to safely and effectively charge your battery. Utilising screw in terminals, you can easily connect up to your solar panel and 12V system. The LCD screen allows you to easily change settings to best suit your setup.

QUALITY BATTERY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (BMS)

Inside the battery, there’s a quality Battery Management System (BMS) that ensures safe and reliable operation. The BMS intelligently monitors each individual cell and balances their use to ensure your battery is charging and discharging evenly. It will also disconnect thelithium deep cycle battery to prevent damage from high or low temperatures, high or low voltage, overload and even short circuits. The quality BMS in this Adventure Kings 120Ah Deep Cycle Lithium Battery is rated to output a continuous 120 Amps. This means that you can easily connect and power a Kings 500W or 1500W inverter that will run most of your 240V gear conveniently off grid.

We recommend that deep cycle lithium batteries are discharged to a maximum of 80% of their rated capacity (in a nutshell you should recharge the battery when it has 20% of its power left). You can do this frequently without affecting the battery's long term life. In fact deep cycle lithium batteries will last over 2000+ cycles.

Note: Based on 80% battery discharge with the fridge drawing an average of 1.0 Amps per hour at 13.2V with the fridge set at 3°C in a 32°C ambient environment.

PLEASE NOTE

All lithium batteries must be fully charged before first use – they may be shipped at a state of charge of 30% or lower for safety, so make sure you fully charge before first use.
