Here’s our guide to four ways to make camping more appealing this winter, so you can get out there more often!

1. USE A CAMPING GAZEBO FOR PROPER PROTECTION
   The number one problem most people associate with camping in winter is not being protected properly from the elements.    Did you know that cool winter sun is the absolute best time you could possibly use a camping solar panel in? That’s because heat is the enemy of electrics, and heat creates voltage drop that over summer, reduces the effectiveness of all 12v electrics. In winter, camping solar panels don’t have to deal with that heat and the voltage drop issues that it causes. Of course the trade-off is that you have to make sure that your camping solar panel is constantly facing the sun all day owing to the fact that there are less sunlight hours in each shorter day when compared to longer summer days, but a camping solar panel is an extremely effective bit of 12v camping gear to use all winter long.
