There are many options when looking at fitting a roof rack to your 4WD and with all the big brands throwing their names around, you’d be easily convinced you need to pay top dollar for a 3 lettered sticker on the side of your new roof rack. But that is simply not the case, whilst the glossy product sheets may say that the racks are tough, there aren’t many as tough as the range from 4WD Supacentre.

Built to be vibration resistant, the sturdy mounting options provide a solid anchor point to lock your rack to your 4WD, and with gutter and channel mounts, you can fit these on just about anything with 4 wheels!

The design motto at 4WD Supacentre is build it tough and build it practical, but don’t charge a fortune, and that is exactly where the Steel flat rack comes in!

The Steel Flat Rack is overengineered to withstand massive amounts of force (in the independent tests, it could withstand up to 500KG on top, this massive strength earned it the ADR tick of approval. And whilst it has no side rails, your vehicle will easily fit underneath underground carparks even with a 2” lift and slightly larger tyres!

The brackets and mounting points were designed to be easy to install and extremely sturdy to withstand the toughest sections of corrugations and toughest offroad jolts and have been put through their paces on the 4WD Action camera crew rigs, just to make sure they could handle the abuse.

Being built from steel, the Steel Flat Rack offers a seriously solid foundation for your campsite, whilst keeping the cost of production down and also being extremely strong the Steel Flat Rack is a solid base to build your campsite on, with the strong mesh base you can easily mount an Adventure Kings Awning to the side of your 4WD, offering the perfect campsite accessory for keeping out the rain!

The Steel Flat rack is the perfect place to throw all of your bulky cargo like swags, gazebos, and even for fastening an Adventure Kings Premium Waterproof Roof Top Bag to stash all of your clothes and other loose cargo, thanks to all the built-in tie down locations across the whole roof rack!

There are even mounting locations up front for your Auxiliary lighting such as the latest Domin8r LED Lightbar or your Illuminator LED Driving lights!

All racks in the 4WD Supacentre range of roof Racks are ADR compliant when mounted securely as per the installation instructions meaning they are perfect for mounting to your 4WD to add extra storage capacity!

Because of the clever design of these racks you can also take advantage of the tough build of these racks if there isn’t a mounting kit for your particular vehicle you can take advantage of heavy duty rated U-bolts to fasten the rack to your existing cross bars or the included sports bars fitted from factory. This can limit your overall carrying capacity and you will have to consult your vehicles owners-manual for confirmation about the load limits with roof top cargo!

A set of roof racks can make a massive difference to not just the way you pack, but the overall layout at your campsite, with the ability to mount any of the Adventure Kings Roof Top Tents, you can have one of the fastest setups on the market!

With more than just a few extras at camp, the drive to camp can be made much easier as well, by creating clearer vision out of the rear and rear quarter windows, of your 4WD, you’ll be able to navigate through traffic much easier!
