Warranty Period

4WD Supacentre of 6a Figtree Drive, Sydney Olympic Park, NSW, 2127 offers this voluntary 12-month warranty from date of purchase against manufacturing defects in products supplied by it.

What does the warranty cover?

Under normal usage conditions, this warranty covers;

  1. Any defect in design or manufacture which results in the product failing to perform substantially as described in authorised advertising or literature; and
  2. We will either repair or replace the product at our discretion

This voluntary warranty is provided in addition to your other rights and remedies under the Australian Consumer Law and does not exclude, restrict, modify, limit or override your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

The warranty does not cover:

  1. Damage resulting from improper use
  2. Damage caused by faulty installation or modification made during installation, unless installed by 4WD Supacentre
  3. Damage caused by mould, insects, animals, misuse, incorrect operation, adverse weather, accidents and fair wear and tear
  4. Costs, losses or charges:
    • of removing and reinstalling the product
    • for travel and /or other expenses due to customer’s remote location
    • for transport charges and damage in transit. It is your responsibility to deliver and pick up your product, including any costs associated with the postage of your repair or replacement product. If you do freight your product we recommend that you insure against loss or damage
    • directly or indirectly associated with the product failing to operate

Important information relating to your rights under Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

30 Day Change of Mind Guarantee Update As Of 16th October 2025

6.1

Policy Overview: We at 4WD Supacentre are committed to ensuring your satisfaction with every purchase. In addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, with our 30-day change of mind policy, you can return eligible items for store credit within 30 days of:

  • dispatch of the item(s) by 4WD Supacentre (if the product is being delivered to you); or
  • the original purchase date, at a company-operated retail store.

A refund is not available for a change of mind.

6.2

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Only items that are unused, in their original packaging, and in resalable condition will be eligible for return.
  • Proof of purchase, such as a receipt or order confirmation, must accompany the returned item.
  • Certain items, such as factory seconds items, gift cards, seconds items, and clearance items may not be eligible for return. Please see section 6.6 for further details and contact customer service for clarification on specific items.

6.3

Return Process: All change of mind returns must be authorised by 4WD Supacentre prior to return.

No return will be processed without Return Approval.

Once approved, return the item(s) at your own cost:

  • In-store at any company-operated store; or
  • By post.

If returning by post:

  • Securely package the item(s) including original packaging and accessories.
  • Use a trackable shipping method and insure the package if needed. You are responsible for return shipping costs and risk.
  • Our team will inspect returned item(s) to confirm eligibility as outlined in section 6.2 and ensure they're not excluded under section 6.6.
  • If eligible, we’ll issue store credit for the original purchase amount.
  • Expect processing delays during peak promotional periods.

6.4

Store Credit:

  • Issued as a digital credit valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
  • Usable for future purchases online or in-store.

6.5

Store Credit Conditions:

  • Cannot be redeemed for cash and is non-transferable.
  • Unused portions remain on your account within the validity period.
  • Store credit is for the item price only, excluding delivery and return shipping fees (for online purchases).

6.6

Exclusions: 4WD Supacentre cannot offer change of mind returns for:

  • Items returned without original packaging or proof of purchase.
  • Used, damaged, or non-resalable items.
  • Factory seconds items, gift cards, and clearance items.
  • Delivery fees paid for online orders.

6.7

Right to Amend: 4WD Supacentre may amend this policy without prior notice. Changes take effect immediately for purchases made after the amended version is posted.

Licensees and Dealers: This policy applies only to purchases made directly through Outdoor Supacentre Pty Ltd. It does not apply to purchases through independent licensees or dealers.

6.9

Australian Consumer Law: This policy does not override your rights under Australian Consumer Law. All products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded.

Note: This policy does not apply to faulty items or order errors (e.g. receiving the wrong item). Please see our faulty product return policy for assistance with incorrect or faulty items.

Faulty Product Return Policy

Under the Australian Consumer Law, you can choose a refund or exchange if an item has a major problem. This is when the item:

  • has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying the item if they had known about it;
  • is unsafe;
  • is significantly different from the sample or description; or
  • doesn’t do what we said it would, or what you asked for and can’t be easily fixed.

Alternatively, you can choose to keep the item and we will compensate you for any drop in value. If the problem is not major, we will repair the item within a reasonable time. If it is not repaired in a reasonable time you can choose a refund or replacement.
