This is a sprawling, grassy paradise located right on a bend of the Coomera River. It offers both powered and unpowered sites. The layout is open and flat, making it ideal for large group setups or families who need room to spread out. It is pet-friendly (on-leash), so you can save on those expensive kennel fees. Amenities: Toilets, coin-operated showers, communal fire pits, and river access for swimming.

Swimming and kayaking in the river are the big draws here. It’s also a perfect home base for exploring the nearby Beechmont lookouts.

This is the only place you can camp within the Springbrook National Park. It features 11 well-defined, unpowered sites in a quiet, forested setting. The layout is intimate, meaning you’re guaranteed a peaceful night away from the "party" crowds.

You are just a short walk from the top of the spectacular Purling Brook Falls. The park is world-heritage listed, offering dozens of kilometres of hiking trails through ancient Antarctic Beech forests.

Situated along the banks of Canungra Creek, the showgrounds offer a mix of powered and unpowered sites. It’s a classic country layout—plenty of shade, soft grass, and very close to the local township. It’s a "social" camp where you’re likely to swap stories with other travellers over a campfire.

The creek is a local favourite for swimming and spotting platypus at dawn. You’re also a 2-minute walk from the iconic Canungra Hotel for a budget-friendly counter meal.

Flushing toilets and hot showers are available at the main reception area. The sites themselves are basic to maintain that "wild" feel.

This is a massive private property offering unpowered bush camping along the Nerang River. It’s rugged, raw, and incredibly beautiful. The sites are spread out along the riverbank, giving you plenty of privacy.

This is the spot for hikers and mountain bikers. You have direct access to trails leading into the surrounding National Parks. It's also a "glass-free" park, making it very safe for kids and pets to run around.
