In our experience after many years on the tracks, there are 2 or 3 different types of campers. Firstly, there are those who love to get away from civilization, those that love to have all the gear and those who love to party undisturbed well into the early morning.

In our opinion nothing beats being in the first group, getting to camp, switching off all the distractions with some peace and quiet is an extremely rejuvenating experience, its good  for the mind and simple living reminds us of what is important, a very confronting thing for people who like to be surrounded by modern conveniences, when we start looking at adding equipment to our camping setup it is important to consider whether it is absolutely required, but also whether it meets one of the 4 survival priorities  Shelter, fluids, Fire, and Food.

For shelter there aren’t many things much, comfortable and easy to set up than an Adventure Kings Roof Top Tent, ideally mounted to a vehicles roof racks it can be set up in a matter of just minutes by unfolding the setup.
