We purchased a Kings rooftop tent and awning from the 4WD Supacentre Birtinya a week ago and had a really positive in-store experience at the time of purchase. The staff member who assisted us was knowledgeable and helpful, which gave us confidence in the product. On collection, however, the experience didn’t quite match the initial service. Although we were advised at the time of purchase that assistance would be available to help get the tent onto our roof rack, there was NO support offered on pickup, and we were advised rather abruptly that installation couldn’t be done in the car park. We proceeded to instal the tent at home, which took around eight hours between two grown men! Once completed, we discovered an essential component was missing — the awning should include FOUR spring pole brackets, however only THREE were supplied. In addition, we’ve encountered a couple of installation issues: • The internal awning support bracket standard screws do not align correctly, making installation difficult without further adjustment. • The installation diagram in the manual is completely different to the actual components supplied, which added confusion during an already time-consuming install. The product itself appears well made, and we’re confident these are oversights rather than major issues. We’d really appreciate a quick resolution by 4WD Supacentre supplying the missing bracket - which would allow us to complete the setup and fully enjoy the purchase. We would like to believe that our initial experience was not just an attempt to make a quick sale and meet a KPI - but rather that 4WD Supacentre appreciates a loyal customer base who would return time and time again….

Huge shout out to Jack and Nolan for their 5 star customer service. Thanks for narrowing down the fridge and battery options Jack. Our son is just starting his set up and Nolan’s knowledge on 12v systems was mind blowing. Thanks again.

Shout out to Corey for his help today. Came to buy a swag bag, walked out with $550. How can one not take up the great deals that were offered today and Corey made the most of those deals for us by putting them into packages to get more bang for our buck. Thanks for your assistance Corey, great job

Purchased a click and collect double swag bag on Jan 3. The website showed 16 in stock. I called the store three times after waiting for notice of the click and collect. Head office confirmed 16 available. I kept checking with the Kawana store and was told I would be called. No call came. I went into the store to understand why nothing was available. Kynan B helped straight away and apologised for the stock issue. I returned a week later and dealt with Kynan again. He processed an exchange for the item which clearly was not in stock. We chose another bag instead. The stock exchange was seamless. There seems to be a problem with inventory counts. Frontline staff end up absorbing customer frustration caused by system errors. Kynan handled the situation professionally and fixed a problem he did not create. Thanks to Kynan for sorting this out.

There are many bad reviews for this company!! I was hesitant after reading the reviews before processing but they are worth the whole 5 stars I’m giving. Nolan was very knowledgeable and helpful with my purchase of a roof top tent. I even had some stress over weight restrictions for my roof racks and car. I was second guessing my purchase before pick up. He said I was still able to get a refund as I hadn’t picked up the product yet. Nolan’s advice was accurate all the way! For further purchase, I would seek Nolan out again! Thank you for great, reliable service
