This is a confusing and bizarre place. I've never set foot in a Kings store before. I found the item I was looking for & went to the checkout with my wife trailing behind me. The sales person then offered up 3 random items that were heavily discounted. I politely declined, then he offered a second unit of what I was already buying, for an extra $10 (original purchase $35). I accepted that, my wife collected it & I commenced payment. At the very same time, my wife was at a display just near the checkout & mentioned another item we might have been interested in. The sales person offered up another discount on that item, in conjunction with the item I had just purchased. I asked if I could cancel my original purchase transaction to take advantage of his offer on the other item and I got a 'Sorry buddy, that would mean a 'change of mind' purchase which means you will lose ten percent anyway'. I mean.. I'm still standing at the same spot at the checkout.. credit card still in hand.. still talking about the weather.. and I'm about to lose ten percent without taking a single step! Really! Is that the best 'customer service' you can come up with? Bombard me with other offers & when I go take advantage of one I'm interested in, you come up with that nonsense. If this is the Kings business model, then they seriously need to have a good look at themselves or train their staff in authenticity and real world solutions..
