A great place to pick up all your camping needs. Everytime i walk into the Ravenhall shop it has always been a fantastic experience. Never have i had an issue with anything i have bought from kings...... couple issues with my kids i take camping, but you don't need that kind of review

I visited 4WD Supacentre Ravenhall to purchase recovery gear for my Subaru Forester before an upcoming trip to Lerderderg State Park. I chose to visit the store specifically to get expert advice rather than simply ordering online. Unfortunately the experience was extremely disappointing. One staff member questioned whether I was planning to “wreck my car” by taking it to Lerderderg and suggested that recovery gear was unnecessary. The tone was dismissive and came across as belittling simply because I drive a Subaru Forester rather than a large 4WD. This attitude was particularly surprising given that Lerderderg has a wide range of tracks, including many that are suitable for AWD vehicles like a Forester. Customers should not be discouraged or made to feel inadequate because of the vehicle they drive or their budget. I then asked for advice about connecting a three-way tyre inflator to my existing inflator and was told that it would work. After leaving the store and testing it, I discovered this advice was incorrect – the product only works with an air compressor. When I returned to explain the issue, I was told that a refund was not possible and that only store credit could be offered. The response felt abrupt and dismissive despite the fact that the purchase was made based on the advice provided in store. I went to the store expecting knowledgeable guidance to prepare responsibly for an off-road trip. Instead, the experience left me feeling discouraged and misinformed. I have contacted customer support at 4WD Supacentre and hope this situation is properly reviewed, particularly regarding how customers are spoken to and the accuracy of product advice provided in store.

Came here to purchase Jump Start after checking online and having a conversation with their customer support team on phone, and on arrival, found out they can’t sell it. WTH.. If you can’t sell it then why do you list it online and the female staff was like “ We can’t sell it. It is simple as that” And bought another random one.

Worst experience ever. I had a 36ah battery pack with a 40L escape fridge freezer, it lasted 3 hours from full charge. I took it back for testing a staff member named Josh tried speaking to me like I was an idiot. Rubbing his head and basically refusing to test it blaming it on the heat then when I picked it up they said they tested it by a person untrained to do so and then was given to that Josh guy. I was given the battery back at half charge saying nothing it wrong with it and that it’s impossible for it to drain that quick so basically calling me a liar. Josh was even running down other companies to try and make their product sound the best but if your product is good it speaks for itself no need to talk down other companies. The guy was nothing but rude, arrogant and should not be working in customer service. On top of all this, everything I have bought from there has been rubbish, cheap and nasty manufactured. I would never recommend this store or their products as you will probably only get max 3 uses out of them before the items broke. Refunds are only for store credit unlike every other company where if ur unhappy with product you can get a refund and go else where. Where as these guys give u store credit only so no matter what ur stuck with their junk, either trying to sell on marketplace or throw in the bin. Do Not Buy Kings is the only advice I’d ever give anyone in regards to these guys.

No words can express how grateful we are for Chris and Daniel! My partner and I came in today as totally new beginners to camping and needing help on the essentials to start! We were approached by Chris and from the get go he was extremely helpful. Asking genuine questions and ticking off a checklist with genuine advice coming from his own experience and knowledge while working with our price point! Daniel was amazing to show us also showing us his own vehicle and how his done it up to give us an idea, as well as giving us some tips and tricks on how to go about the setup and spots! The pair worked so incredibly well together and were at no point rushing or trying to persuade us in buying unnecessary items. As well as both having amazing knowledge! We are so grateful for these two guys as they showed us genuine help! Alivia and Alessandro
